Our outdoor shower project at Ocean Close

The outdoor shower project has started, but we're 'on holiday - at the beach' now for a while

Some say sand between the toes is great, others dislike it.

We'll shortly provide a solution for our guests to have a cold water outdoor shower post your trip down the path to the beach.  There will also be a tap to simply wash the sand from between the toes.

Any comments on the need for a hot water supply - possibly using solar energy?

Easy paddle launching and swimming pontoon

Come see and enjoy the new floating pontoon and swimming platform at the Moore River mouth.

What an easy way to launch your canoe, kayak, ski or paddle board straight from the car park for a paddle on the calm river water or even contemplate a venture over the sand bar into the Indian Ocean.
Also there is a new pontoon set up towards the sand bar on the river side for swimmers to swim out to and relax or have fun diving into the protected river waters.

Anyone for foot golf?

The Guilderton Golf Course has this week announced that you can now play foot golf on the course in Guilderton WA.

Opening day is on 18th December 2016.

What a great idea for something to do with family and friends once you have had a great morning on the shores of the Indian Ocean or in the estuary waters of the Moore River.
